Exposure Skate is a non-profit dedicated to empower women through skateboarding. All proceeds go to survivors of domestic violence. As the graphics and social media intern I created graphics to promote the yearly skateboarding competition in San Diego as well as participate in different social media campaigns that helped raise money. I maintained the Exposure’s social media daily and had a 7,000+ increase of followers in 3 months. I worked remotely from the Bay Area and communicated with Amelia Brodka in San Diego. Reliable communication and learning about the skate culture were my key elements to this internship. To learn more about Exposure click here.
