Created in 2012, Lima Designs is a fan-made blog based of Fox’s show “Glee.” Run by my sister and I, it provided a space to interact with other fans and create graphics based off fan-fictions, and the original storylines. Our graphics have spread throughout the tumblr sphere as the main source for fan-made graphics and alternative universes. We provided daily graphics with weekly themes varying from crossovers to brutally honest posters. With over 6,100+ followers and collecting over 30,000+ notes we lead the "Glee" fandom with our fan-made graphics. KarmyHQ is a fan-made blog run by my sister and I inspired by MTV’s “Faking It.” We created fan-made graphics and interacted with fans via Tumblr and Twitter. We won MTV’s Faking It Fan Art contest and was able to collaborate with MTV’s social media team. We ran the official MTV Faking It Tumblr and live-tweeted while the episode aired. Originally it was for one episode but we continued to run the official Tumblr for two seasons. In addition to running the official Tumblr we lead worldwide trends on our own Twitter account and monitored trends and announcements from the cast and crew. With over 2,000+ followers on Twitter and Tumblr and 50,000+ notes on social media, we have been recognized by the cast, crew and the show runner. To view our Twitter account click here.
