Favorite Photos Taken
Anytime I got photo of the day, because it felt like an achievement to have the best photo out of the thousands of photos taken of guests everyday. I enjoyed taking pictures of kids and babies because they were always so into the interaction with the characters.
Favorite Memory of the
Disney College Program
As part of the program we had special events in the park. They shut down part of California Adventure for the night and we had a Hollywood Tower of Terror themed party. It was so fun to dress up and they had photo-ops and themed food.
Most memorable part about working at Disneyland
Whenever my family visited me while I was working. They would fall in the long line and laugh to themselves when they pass me their photopass card. My parents even drove six hours with Thanksgiving dinner in the car, so we can all eat turkey in the hotel room.
Weirdest Interaction
While working Christmas Day with the Princesses, the cast members decided to play a game just between the hosts, the character actors and the photographers. By the end of the shift we had to somehow manipulate the guests to say a particular word. Me working with Mulan our word was “Mushu.” It was so fun working together with the Princess for this inside joke between the crew. You have no idea how many kids don’t know who Mushu is, or even who Mulan is, but that’s another story.
Can you tell me a backstage secret?
Let’s get to that interview and I’ll tell you one.
